How many square feet are in a marla?
It depends on the standard. Many private housing societies use 225 sq ft. The revenue (government) marla used in land records is 272.25 sq ft, and some schemes use 250 sq ft. Check the plot's documents.
How many marla are in a kanal?
Always 20. So a kanal is 4,500 sq ft on a 225 sq ft marla and 5,445 sq ft on the revenue marla.
What is gaz?
In Karachi, plot sizes are quoted in square yards, often called gaz. One square yard is 9 square feet, so a 120 gaz plot is 1,080 sq ft.
How many kanal are in an acre?
An acre is 43,560 sq ft. On the revenue marla that is exactly 8 kanal; on a 225 sq ft marla it is about 9.7 kanal.
